Behind Certifit are Marco and Stefan<\/strong> \u2014 two experts with a shared goal: supporting hotels in a practical and structured way on their path to sustainability certification.<\/p>\n

Certifit was founded based on the experience that, in everyday hotel operations, sustainability often fails due to lack of time, resources, and clear structure. That\u2019s exactly where we come in: with expertise, realistic planning, and close collaboration with each property.<\/p>\n

Marco \u2013 Owner & certification support<\/h3>\n

Marco Telfser<\/strong> is the owner of Certifit and supports hotels from the initial check all the way to audit preparation. He has solid education and advanced training in sustainability and certifications, including courses for the Sustainability Label South Tyrol<\/em> and the international GSTC<\/em> certification, both completed with a diploma. In addition, he completed the HGV sustainability program, further strengthening his expertise in sustainable hotel development.<\/p>\n

Through close cooperation with official certification bodies and auditors, Marco has a precise understanding of real-world requirements, procedures, and expectations. He brings this knowledge into hotels in a structured and easy-to-understand way.<\/p>\n

Professionally, Marco also has several years of experience in hotel marketing. As a marketing employee within a hotel business, he gained valuable insight into internal workflows, decision-making processes, and the challenges of day-to-day hotel operations. In particular, he has extensive experience in online marketing, which also plays an important role in positioning sustainable businesses.<\/p>\n

His profile is complemented by his work as a freelance photographer and video service provider, which he has carried out professionally for over five years. This know-how contributes, among other things, to visual communication, documentation, and making sustainability measures visible.<\/p>\n

Stefan \u2013 certification support & strategy<\/h3>\n

Stefan<\/strong> complements Certifit as a second point of contact for sustainability certifications. He also completed the international GSTC<\/em> sustainability course and brings many years of experience in the marketing environment.<\/p>\n

His particular focus is on hotel structures, operational processes, and sustainable development models. Stefan closely follows sustainability movements in tourism and brings this perspective into the strategic support of hotel businesses. With his commitment and analytical approach, he helps hotels not only document sustainability, but embed it meaningfully into daily operations.<\/p>\n
